Since its acquisition of the Swissotel Sydney, M&L Hospitality has committed to an extensive multi-million dollar major capital works programme which will see the refurbishment of all rooms, the ballroom, conference area, lobby bar, restaurant, Wi-Fi internet facilities, executive club as well as the hotel exterior.
The first phase is now finalised with the refurbishment of the ballroom and conference facilities and the upgrade of the security key card system and hotel’s Wi-Fi internet facilities. The second phase has commenced with the replacement of all beds, the relocation and expansion of the executive club and an upgrade of the hotel’s lobby, lobby bar, banquet rooms and restaurant.
“We are always looking for opportunities that not only enhance the guest experience, but provide increased returns to investors”, says Asset Manager Sarah Phillipson.
The Swissotel Sydney’s multi-million dollar upgrade is due for completion in September 2012 and is just one of the many asset enhancement programmes M&L Hospitality is undertaking on their portfolio of hotels which spans across Australia, Singapore, New Zealand and Japan.
