Hyatt Regency Sydney launches The Upper Deck; a spectacular new event space with alfresco terrace and incredible harbour views.

Hyatt Regency Sydney, Australia’s largest upscale hotel, introduces The Upper Deck; a 352 sq m fully customisable, elevated event space with 40 sq m outdoor terrace and expansive views of Darling Harbour, further cementing the hotel’s position as the Best Business Hotel* and adding another level to the hotel’s extensive meeting and events offering.

Available to book for exclusive usefrom February 2023, The Upper Deck is suitable for cocktail style events and meetings and gatherings of up to 200 guests. A truly unique venue and a rarity in Sydney’s meeting and event landscape is the 40sq m outdoor terrace, with the capacity to host up to 40 guests under the city lights whilst overlooking the glistening water of Sydney’s Darling Harbour.

Located on Level 11, The Upper Deck indoor/outdoor space is fitted with the latest technology and AV; including wireless and mobile TV screens, lectern, internal and external sound system and lighting.

To elevate each event, set menu catering and beverage packages are available putting Hyatt’s renowned service and hospitality on show, with the option to curate personalised and customised food experiences.

A continuation of the hotel’s nautical-inspired design, a colour palette of blue and white is the canvas to this world-class meetings and event space, with small motifs that pay homage to the harbourside locale including the use of Australian Hardwood decking on the outdoor terrace.
